Summertime Blues

This was painted over a failed painting and was a painting out of my imagination--I had not ever attempted a painting from thin air but it was a good exercise--notice how I worked in my favorite blues?

 Do you remember that old song by Eddie Cochran? It was running thru my head when I was painting this. whoops now I cant get it off my mind! lol
