The Beginning

I am going to start a new painting today--It is a commission. It is of a little farm with a beautiful tree and a fence --He wants me to put it on a 24x30 canvas---you never know what it will turn out to be--I have a vague picture in my mind of what I want to do--landscapes don't come easy to me--I so want this to be special as the brother and sisters want this to be a present for their dear mom--I think he said she is moving from the little farm and they wanted her to have this. So I simply have to do a good job and make this a special painting. I wish I could make it magical--but that happens very rarely. I will post as I go along, I think.........wish me smooth sailing!
